The so-called Notitia Dignitatum “list of official functions”
Can be the Notitia Dignitatum a sort of parallel of Matricula de Tributos from Codex Mendoza?
Here I list quickly some pictures:

You can find a quick description of what Notitia Dignitatum is on wikipedia, and a more accurate here and here.
Here you can find a text with some images.
There is a sort of visual similarity with matriculas de tributos in Codex Mendoza.

There is a real analogy between the two artifacts, apart in the topic and in visual aspect?
I think that Matricula de tributos is a matrix, a sort of “due register”, while Notitia Dignitatum has a tree structure (military ranks 1 2, with insigna) mixed with geographical informations (but there are also some largitiones pages). *we have to do a more precise list of the images we know.
Tere is not a structural analogy at a macroscopic entactic level, but Notitia Dignitarum can be considered an entactic artifact.
Tree structure might be considered another kind of “entactic rule”.
Maybe there is an analogy at microunit level. But we’d need to analyze more detailed source.
In Bodleian Library there are filmstrips of both codex Mendoza and od Notitia Dignitatum.
